Terms of Service

These Terms explain the expectations, responsibilities and policies that apply when you request, schedule or receive cleaning services from Scrubalicious Cleaning Co.

1. Quotes & Estimates

Quotes are based on information available to us at the time of booking, including the type of cleaning requested, property size, property condition, service frequency, requested add-ons and other information provided by the customer.

Unless otherwise stated, quotes are estimates and remain valid for thirty (30) days. A quote assumes the actual condition of the property reasonably matches the condition described when the quote was prepared.

If the property requires materially more work than represented, or the requested scope changes, Scrubalicious Cleaning Co. may recommend an adjustment to the price, time or scope of service.

We will not perform work that materially increases the agreed price without first notifying you and receiving your approval.

2. Scope of Services

Scrubalicious Cleaning Co. will perform the cleaning services listed in the accepted quote, booking confirmation or selected cleaning package.

Different cleaning types include different tasks. Customers are encouraged to review the applicable Cleaning Checklist before booking. Tasks that are not included in the selected service are not automatically included simply because they are present at the property.

Cleaning results may vary due to age, wear, staining, buildup, material condition, prior maintenance and other factors. Cleaning services do not guarantee restoration of permanently damaged, stained, deteriorated or improperly maintained surfaces.

3. General Scope Exclusions

Unless expressly included in your written quote or booking, the following are generally outside the scope of ordinary cleaning:

Additional services may be available when requested in advance and specifically approved.

4. Scheduling & Arrival Times

Arrival and completion times are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Traffic, prior appointments, staffing, property conditions and other circumstances may affect timing.

If a significant delay or scheduling issue occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate with you.

Scrubalicious Cleaning Co. may assign or change the cleaner or cleaning team servicing the property based on availability and operational needs. Requests for a particular cleaner may be considered but cannot be guaranteed.

5. Property Access

The customer is responsible for providing safe and timely access to the property, including any required keys, lockbox instructions, gate codes or other access information.

If access cannot be obtained at the scheduled time, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation and an applicable cancellation or trip charge may apply.

6. Other Workers at the Property

Movers, contractors, maintenance workers, handymen, construction crews or other unrelated workers present during cleaning may interfere with our ability to complete or maintain the cleaning.

Scrubalicious Cleaning Co. is not responsible for dirt, dust, debris or other conditions created by unrelated persons after an area has been cleaned.

7. Preparing for Service

Customers should remove excessive clutter and secure cash, jewelry, medications, firearms, sensitive documents, fragile collectibles and valuable or irreplaceable items before service.

Customers are responsible for identifying specialty finishes, delicate surfaces, unstable fixtures or items that should not be cleaned using ordinary cleaning products or methods.

8. Pets

Customers are responsible for keeping pets safe and appropriately secured during service when necessary.

Please disclose animals that may be aggressive, territorial, prone to escaping or otherwise require special precautions.

9. Health & Safety Restrictions

Scrubalicious Cleaning Co. may refuse, discontinue or modify work that presents an unreasonable health or safety risk.

• Biohazards or bodily fluids
• Needles or dangerous medical waste
• Active pest or insect infestations
• Significant mold or toxic substances
• Unsafe structural conditions
• Aggressive animals
• Unsafe heights or unstable access
• Any task that reasonably threatens worker safety

Known hazardous conditions should be disclosed before service. Undisclosed hazardous or infestation conditions may result in cancellation or refusal of service.

10. Pricing & Payment Authorization

All prices are stated in U.S. dollars. Payment terms will be disclosed at booking. A valid payment method may be required to reserve or complete an appointment.

By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method and authorize Scrubalicious Cleaning Co. or its payment processor to charge amounts properly due for approved services, approved add-ons and disclosed cancellation or trip charges.

A declined payment does not eliminate responsibility for amounts properly owed.

11. Deposits

Certain services may require a deposit to reserve a date or time period. If a deposit is required, the amount and applicable cancellation terms will be disclosed before booking.

An appointment requiring a deposit is not considered reserved until the required deposit has been received.

12. Recurring Cleaning

Recurring cleaning may be scheduled weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or at another agreed frequency.

Pricing may depend on the agreed service frequency. Changes in frequency, condition, service requirements or scope may result in updated pricing.

If recurring service is enrolled in automatic billing, the customer authorizes recurring charges for scheduled services until the arrangement is cancelled in accordance with the applicable cancellation policy.

13. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. Customers should provide at least twenty-four (24) hours' notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment whenever possible.

Late cancellations, lockouts, denied access or cancellation after a cleaner has begun traveling to the property may result in a reasonable cancellation or trip charge disclosed through the booking process.

14. Satisfaction Guarantee

The Satisfaction Guarantee applies only to tasks included within the agreed cleaning scope. It does not apply to permanent stains, damage, normal wear, deteriorated surfaces, excluded services or conditions that cannot reasonably be corrected through ordinary cleaning.

Reasonable access must be provided for an applicable re-clean.

15. Unexpected Property Conditions

Pricing is based on the property condition described at booking. If the actual property requires significantly more time or effort due to undisclosed or materially different conditions, we will notify you.

Examples may include excessive grease, unusually heavy buildup, extensive debris or unusually soiled surfaces.

You may approve additional service or ask us to complete as much as reasonably possible within the original scope. We will not materially expand the work without approval.

16. Move-In & Move-Out Cleaning

Move-in and move-out cleaning is intended for vacant or substantially vacant properties unless otherwise agreed.

Electricity, running water and reasonable property access must be available unless alternate arrangements are approved in advance.

Scrubalicious Cleaning Co. does not guarantee the return of a security deposit or acceptance of the property's condition by a landlord, property manager, buyer or other third party.

If keys are surrendered or access is otherwise lost before an applicable re-clean can occur, we may be unable to perform corrective service.

Movers, occupants or third parties entering the property after cleaning may affect previously cleaned areas. Scrubalicious Cleaning Co. is not responsible for conditions created after service has been completed.

17. Vacation Rental & Airbnb Cleaning

Vacation rental turnover cleaning may include tasks identified in the applicable Cleaning Checklist and any approved property instructions.

Property owners and managers are responsible for providing accurate access instructions, staging requirements, inventory information, laundry instructions and restocking instructions when applicable.

Scrubalicious Cleaning Co. does not guarantee guest reviews, occupancy, platform rankings or other outcomes controlled by third parties.

18. Property, Fixtures & Pre-Existing Conditions

Customers are responsible for notifying us of delicate materials, specialty finishes, unstable fixtures or items that may not withstand ordinary cleaning.

Scrubalicious Cleaning Co. is not responsible for deterioration, breakage or failure caused by ordinary cleaning of property that was already damaged, defective, loose, worn, unstable or improperly installed.

Any suspected damage should be reported promptly so it can be reviewed and documented.

19. Photographs & Documentation

Before, during and after photographs may be taken for quality control, verification of completed work, documentation of pre-existing property conditions or damage documentation.

Photographs may also be used for marketing or promotional purposes when appropriate. Scrubalicious Cleaning Co. will make reasonable efforts not to intentionally display private documents, identifying information or other sensitive personal information.

Customers may contact us before service if they do not want photographs from their property used for promotional purposes.

20. Honest Reviews

Customers are free to share honest opinions and reviews regarding their experience with Scrubalicious Cleaning Co.

If you are dissatisfied with a service, we encourage you to contact us promptly so that we have an opportunity to understand and address the concern under our Satisfaction Guarantee.

21. No Direct Hiring or Bypassing

Scrubalicious Cleaning Co. invests substantial time and resources in recruiting, screening, onboarding, coordinating and managing cleaning professionals.

Customers agree not to knowingly bypass Scrubalicious Cleaning Co. by directly hiring or engaging a cleaning professional introduced through Scrubalicious Cleaning Co. for substantially similar services without our prior written approval.

If direct engagement is desired, please contact Scrubalicious Cleaning Co. so that any mutually acceptable transition or placement arrangement can be documented in writing.

22. Website & Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, original website content, branding, logos, graphics and written materials belonging to Scrubalicious Cleaning Co. may not be reproduced, sold, distributed or used commercially without prior permission.

23. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Scrubalicious Cleaning Co. will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from or relating to cleaning services.

To the extent permitted by law, total liability arising from a particular cleaning service will not exceed the amount paid for the service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

24. Past-Due Amounts

Customers remain responsible for amounts properly due for completed services and authorized charges.

If an undisputed balance remains unpaid, Scrubalicious Cleaning Co. may suspend future services and pursue lawful collection remedies.

Any interest or collection charge will only be imposed when disclosed and permitted by applicable law.

25. Arizona Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where federal law applies.

26. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with an accepted quote, booking confirmation, applicable Cleaning Checklist and any written instructions agreed to by the parties, constitute the agreement concerning the applicable service.

27. Waiver & Severability

Failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive the right to enforce that provision later.

If any provision is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

28. Changes to These Terms

Scrubalicious Cleaning Co. may update these Terms as services and policies change. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
